Army patrol contributes to a seizure of drugs

In recent days, the army men employed in the "Safe Roads" Operation of the "Veneto - Friuli" group, in collaboration with the police, carried out a drug seizure at a square in the historic center of the city of Padua .

The soldiers, effective in the "Serenissima" lagoon regiment, intervened following the reporting of some citizens who denounced a group of young people intent on consuming drugs, took care of checking the children present on the spot, dwelling, in particular, on a young (minor) found in possession of an aluminum foil wrap with forty stamps impregnated with synthetic drug.

The army soldiers, since August 2008, participate in the "Safe Roads" operation in competition and jointly with the police forces to guarantee the safety and prevention of petty crime in many Italian cities.
