It was celebrated at Palazzo Arsenale, headquarters of the Army Training Command and Application School, the 228 anniversary of foundation of the Nunziatella Military School.

After the salute of the commander, general of army corps Paolo Ruggiero, and of the president of the Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta section of theFormer Nunziatella Students Association, attorney Camillo Mariconda, the over one hundred participants including staff on duty and not, laid a laurel wreath at the war memorial in the courtyard of honor of the building.

Among the former students who remembered the historic anniversary, the commander of the legion of the Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta, Brigadier General Gino Micale, and the provincial commander of the Arma, Colonel Arturo Guarino, were present.

Founded in Naples in the 1787 on the initiative of Ferdinand IV of Bourbon, the Nunziatella Military School is based in the Neapolitan capital, in the building that once housed the novices of the Society of Jesus and owes its name to the Madonna of the Annunciation, to which the chapel of the Institute is entitled.

Today there are two military schools of the Army, the Nunziatella in Naples and the Teulie in Milan, both employees through the Modena Academy from Training Command and Application School of Turin.

Students in military schools, after passing the three-year high school of classical or scientific, acquire a solid preparation aimed at access to military academies or civil university addresses.
