The 3 ° Helicopter Regiment for Special Operations (REOS) "Aldebaran" has finalized the loading, transport and projection of the multi-role helicopter AB-412 by plane C-130J Hercules of the Military Air Force.
This is part of the REOS project, that is the air support for special operations wanted by the SME which, specifically, provides for the establishment of an organic unit dedicated to these activities.
The redeployment of the helicopter and its subsequent use following transport by air carrier increase the operational capacity of the Army to project its forces, everywhere, to support peace and protect Italian and European citizens in the rest of the world.
