The nine officers of the Army Application School who took part in the "National Collegiate Conference Association" project at the United Nations Headquarters in New York have returned to Palazzo Arsenale.

Greeted in Turin by the commander for the Training, Specialization and Doctrine of the general army corps Giorgio Battisti and the commander of the general division of military studies Claudio Berto the nine officers were the protagonists of an initiative that involved more than five thousand university students from all over the world.

The aim of the project is to consolidate the didactic internationalization and the mutual interaction between university structures through the simulation of the work of twenty-one UN committees. Designated to play the role of the Pakistan delegation, the young Italian officers took part in numerous meetings in which they demonstrated the ability to analyze and solve different problems of international politics, coming to formulate resolutions similar to those prepared by the members of the Glass Palace in situations real.

The commitment and skills of the students with the stars found formal recognition at the end of two weeks of intense work. In fact, during the closing ceremony the Italian representative was awarded the title of "honorable delegation" granted only to the best international delegations. A flattering result confirming the validity of an innovative and unique course of study of its kind, that of the Application School, which sees the Army, University and Polytechnic of Turin work in close contact.
