Ship "Vespucci" restarts the 2023-2025 world tour from Buenos Aires

Il Vespucci – ambassador of Made in Italy in the world – will be in Buenos Aires from 17 to 21 March. Numerous initiatives to raise awareness of Italian culture and excellence in the world.
The Buenos Aires stage kicks off the second phase of the World Tour Vespucci which will end in 2025.

The initiative, strongly supported by the Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto, who said at the departure of the tour from Genoa “Not only will the most beautiful ship in the world arrive in every nation, but Italy”, combines the traditional training activity of officer students and the promotion of Made in Italy excellence in the ports covered by the campaign.

During the stop in Buenos Aires, theAmerigo Vespucci will open its doors to the authorities and the local community, who will also be able to participate in numerous events organized in the "Villaggio Italia" exhibition space, where the activities of the individual departments involved will converge so that the world tour becomes, as well as a unitary expression of the values ​​of the entire Nation, also a showcase of Made in Italy and a driving force for our economy and for the dissemination of our culture. An important opportunity also for Italian entrepreneurial realities in Argentina. The program of events includes concerts, exhibitions, conferences and film screenings and will allow you to learn about Italian culture and the deep bond that exists between Italy and Argentina.

Il Vespucci it is the emblem of the Navy and of Italy itself: it contains the excellence of Made in Italy, in the wake of maritime traditions, but also of a strong Italian cultural dimension which over the years has contributed to the growth of the country's prestige .

The ship left on 1 July 2023 from the Port of Genoa to sail around the world. The initiative is carried out in collaboration with Difesa Servizi SpA, the subsidiary of the Ministry of Defence, which will support all phases of the campaign.
