Militaries help capture two suspects

04/02/15

Yesterday, an army military patrol, employed in the "Safe Roads" Operation "Lombardy" Tactical Group led by the 1st Milan Transmission Regiment contributed to the detention of two suspicious individuals.

The military, in protection of the Consulate General of the United States of America, recognized, in the immediate vicinity of the site (by means of mug shots in their possession) two suspicious individuals already known to the US authorities.

The patrol promptly contacted the Order's forces, who intervened on the site and blocked and suspected the suspects who vainly tried to escape.

Army soldiers, since August 2008, have participated in the "Safe Roads" Operation in competition and jointly with the Police Forces to guarantee the safety and prevention of petty crime in many Italian cities.
