The military, in fact, realizing that an individual was pulling his wallet out of the pocket of an unconscious passer-by, promptly intervened to the rescue of the latter, blocking the attacker and holding him until the arrival of the Carabinieri.
Conducted to the center for identification, the man was reported on the loose.
The Italian Army participates, from August of 2008, in the "Safe Roads" operation in competition and jointly with the Police Forces, guaranteeing security and crime prevention, through the control of sensitive points and the patrolling of city areas.
