A first aliquot of soldiers from the "Lombardia" Tactical Group, already involved in the "Safe Roads" operation, has begun to oversee some sensitive objectives of Expo 2015, the Universal Exposition to be held in the Lombard capital from 1 May to 31 October 2015.
The military will have the task of guaranteeing a wide-ranging perimeter security service within the exhibition grounds, as an implementation of the security framework set up for the important international event.
