The Army at Just The Woman I Am

On Sunday 8 March, on the occasion of the Women's Day, in Piazza San Carlo in Turin, a large number of female soldiers, effective at the Army Training and Application Command, took part in the sporting event "Just The Woman I Am "organized by the Turin university system in support of research projects developed by women, aimed at the fight against Cancer.

This event is included in the Turin 2015 European Capital of Sport calendar and experienced its most significant moment at 16,30 with the start of the 5 km non-competitive race and the 6 km walk which saw the second lieutenant Maria Chiara Santoni of 192 ° course the first woman to cross the finish line.

At the head of this representative is the commander, division general Claudio Berto.
