The three days of confrontation on the state, prospects and future developments related to security and defense was attended by General Giancarlo Villa, commander of the Interforces School for Defense NBC of Rieti presenting the training proposal on CBRN offered in the Interforces by the Institute Rieti.
The experts focused their work in particular on preventing and combating war, terrorism and terrorist activities carried out with chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNe) and mass destruction (WMD) weapons.
The summit ended with the Tabletop Exercise which was attended by staff from the CIFIGE (Center for Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Training), specialized team members from the 7st Battalion CBRN "Rieti", from the C-IED Center of Excellence of the Command Genius and the XNUMXth NBC Defense Regiment of Civitavecchia who simulated a joint intervention for the safety of a special loading explosive device and the reclamation of the affected area.
