The Army welcomes the new "Eagles"

It took place at Army Aviation training center (CAAE), the ceremony of awarding the "Eagles" to seven new pilots of the 1st pilot observer course of the Army 2023.

The young pilots, after completing basic flight training, arrived at the flight school ofArmy Aviation (AVES) last February. On board the AB-206C training helicopter, they acquired the specific flight skills of the specialty, including day and night tactical flight, the use of weapon systems, mountain flying and operational use in the context of complex missions.

The ceremony was a moment of celebration and recognition for the work and commitment shown by the new pilots during the demanding training course.

The event was chaired by the commander of the CAAE, Brigadier General Giovanni Quartuccio who expressed his personal applause to the officers and non-commissioned officers protagonists of the important moment: “this achievement represents the first step of a professional growth path full of ever-changing experiences which will lead you, over time, to not only be attentive and expert pilots but, even before that, soldiers, men and women of example”.
