As part of the “Golden Wings 2017” exercise, the division Friuli in recent days it has seen its dependent brigades intensely engaged through various dynamic events, including the fire activity of the brigade's artillery thunderbolt and the brigade Pozzuolo del Friuli at the Monte Romano polygon (VT).
The division commander Friuli, Major General Carlo Lamanna, thanks to the support of the Army Aviation Command and the Aircraft Brigade who ensured through their respective flight departments the ability to connect between the various locations of the "Golden Wings 2017", reached the shooting range where he was able to personally observe the shooting activities, particularly important in terms of joint activity between artillery units of different brigades and valid verification of the important training objectives achieved by the departments and in particular by the "Voloire".
Several departments of the brigade also participated in the important exercise Pozzuolo del Friuli (command department, Genoa cavalry (4th), 3rd Engineer Regiment and Logistics Regiment), of the Taurinense (1 ° land artillery regiment), theRam (command department e thunderbolt, Savoy cavalry (3rd) and logistic regiment) together with the training regiment of the artillery command, the 11th transmission regiment Lioness and the assets of the RISTA brigade.
