After a first greeting to the delegation during the passage aboard the vehicle, the Pope expressed his congratulations and best wishes to the military representation of the school during the speech addressed to the whole crowd. As a final gesture, the students handed over to His Holiness the "DUE PIZZI", a typical hat worn by them inside the Institute.
Appreciating very much the simple gift, Pope Francis wanted to readily wear it and immortalize the event by “posing” for some photos.
