In fact, 50 soldiers from the 151st Infantry Regiment, under the orders of Colonel Enrico Rosa, commander of the newly formed "Raggruppamento Sardegna", are joining forces of the Order in supervising the port of Cagliari, the airport and the Asylum Seekers Assistance Center ( CARA) by Elmas. The use of the Army soldiers in Cagliari was announced on 4 March by the Minister of the Interior Angelino Alfano during the naming ceremony of the teaching room of the "Carlo Alberto" barracks for the Sardinian policewoman Emanuela Loi, who died in the massacre in via D'Amelio in Palermo.
