Great public success for the performance, yesterday evening, of the Italian Army Band with the choir of Voluntary nursing staff of the Italian Red Cross at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.
The demonstration was attended by the minister for constitutional reforms Maria Elena Boschi, the undersecretary of state for defense on. Domenico Rossi, the defense chief of staff, general Claudio Graziano and high civil and military authorities.
Particularly appreciated are the performances of the musical formation, directed by the master captain Antonella Bona, of some pieces relating to the period of the First World War.
During the event, closely connected with the celebrations of the Centenary of the Great War, the enormous sacrifices and sufferings of the entire Italian people during the conflict were remembered and the important link that unites the Red Cross women to the armed forces was confirmed.
