The course for officers of the selected reserve started at the Application School

Nineteen officers and among these nine women have entered the entrance of Arsenal Palace, Seat of the command for training and application school Army for the attendance of the 27 course of the reserve selected.

These are civil professionals selected on the basis of particularly interesting skills for the armed force. A pool of specialists destined to integrate periodically in the ranks of the Army for the performance of particular tasks. Considering their age and curriculum, they have been awarded degrees ranging from second lieutenant to major.

The staff of the reserve selected during the stay in Turin, two modules of a training cycle will follow, whose total duration is five weeks and in which theoretical subjects and practical exercises are contemplated.

The officers of the 27 course, graduates in law, architecture, engineering, history and medicine will participate in lessons on topography, shooting, health aid, physical education, logistics, tactics, humanitarian law and formal education. The teaching will be conducted in the classrooms of Arsenal Palace and in the main training areas of Piedmont, with the contribution of men and vehicles from different departments of the armed force.

The final objective of the educational path is to provide the students with the basic tools for a profitable insertion in the different units of the Army in anticipation of a future employment in national and international operational contexts.
