Important interventions by the military of "Safe Streets" in the capital

In recent days the Army personnel, engaged in the "Safe Roads" operation in Rome, carried out numerous interventions in competition with the police, for the protection of security and public order.

At the "Parco di Centocelle" underground station, the military proceeded to identify an individual with a suspicious attitude. The checks found that it was a Moroccan reported as the author of a theft committed the previous month. The foreigner, also in possession of non-regular identification documents, was handed over to the police.

At the "Colosseo" subway, the patrol in service blocked two non-EU citizens who were fleeing the police force.

At the "Pigneto" metro station, the operators on duty identified a Nigerian citizen in possession of drugs. For him the immediate arrest by the police and the consequent seizure of the drug.

At the Roma Termini railway junction, finally, during a joint activity with the police, the soldiers, during routine checks, stopped an Italian citizen burdened by a "road sheet" from the city of Rome. The complaint was reported to the judicial authority for the man.
