The NATO Defense College

The NATO Defense College (NDC) is located within the military city of Cecchignola. The starting point for this college comes from General Eisenhower in the 1951, which identified the need for a new international institution with a single educational mission.

The NATO Defense College is the primary academic institution of the alliance. Its aspiration is to be considered by nations as the first choice for the educational development of its officers.

It focuses on high-level political-military issues, comparing civil and military leaders within their nation and beyond.
