General Graziano receives the military returned from the "Invictus Games"

The army chief of staff, army corps general Claudio Graziano, received on Tuesday morning the military 8 disabled athletes of the army who participated, as part of the Italian delegation of Defense, in the Paralympic international games “Invictus Games ”Held in London from the 10 to the September 14.

Among them the two medal athletes, the 1 ° caporal major Domenico Russo, gold medal in the 100 meters “visually impaired”, and the major Pasquale Barriera, bronze medal in the 50 freestyle meters.

At the end of the meeting the athletes moved to the Quadri hall of Palazzo Baracchini, home of the Ministry of Defense, where, together with the military athletes of the Italian team returning from the European swimming championships in Berlin (13 - 24 August), they were received by defense minister Roberta Pinotti.
