The occasion allowed the opportunity to make an update on the respective armed forces. During the meeting, which took place in a climate of cordiality, the two commanders expressed mutual appreciation for the professionalism of their respective armies. The visit of General Da Costa Villas Boas continued in Pistoia, where he participated in the celebrations of the 70 anniversary of the Liberation of Italy. At the end of his visit, General Da Costa Villas Boas thanked Italy and the Army for their hospitality and confirmed the excellent relations between the two countries.
