The Army Chief of Staff, Army Corps General Danilo Errico, visited the morning this morning Military Riding Center el 'Veterinary Hospital of Montelibretti.
Welcomed by the Chief of Staff of the Army Command and Education Command, Brigadier General Giovanni Savarese and the Commander of the Military Riding Center, Colonel Gianfranco Fedele, after the initial honors, the Army Chief of Staff attended an illustrative briefing on the activities of the Center, a center of excellence in national equitation.
After the training area and the stables, the visit continued atVeterinary Hospital military where the general Giovanni Rucco, chief veterinary of the logistic command of the Army and the director of the hospital, Colonel Alfonso Giordano, have illustrated to the general Errico the rehabilitation activities of the hospital.
The current Military Riding Center, reconstituted in Montelibretti in the 1949 after its transfer from Pinerolo, home of the then Military Center Preparation of Horse Races, today it hosts numerous equestrian competitions of national and international level, continuing to cultivate that excellence in the equestrian disciplines that date back to Captain Federico Caprilli, inventor of the "Natural Riding" method.
