Twenty years of 176th "Certa"

Yesterday and today the former official students of the 176 ° Certezza Course met in Modena to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of their entry into the Military Academy. The rally drivers, now senior officers of the Army and of the Carabinieri, have thus been able to relive the emotions of 20 years ago, confirming the sentiments of ancient and authentic friendship that has since linked them.

The military ceremony, held in the Cortile d'Onore of the Doge's Palace, saw the young Official Students of the 196 "Certezza" course lined up alongside the rally drivers and represented the most touching moment of the event.

The commander of the Military Academy, divisional general Salvatore Camporeale, in his speech underlined the high significance of the gathering, recalling the profound moral, ethical and spiritual values that bind the different generations of educated officers among the austere walls of the Institute of training.

At the end of the military ceremony, the two "twin" courses sang the song "Una Acies" to reaffirm their belonging to a single group of Soldiers who dedicated their lives to the service of the Fatherland.
