the task force lagunari "Serenissima" of the Italian Army, also under the command of a Portuguese tank company and one of Canadian engineers, began the redeployment for the final phase of the Trident Juncture 15 to be held on the occasion of Distinguished Visitors Day national level in Portugal.

The "fanti da mar" crossed the Tagus river with the specialized reconnaissance assets to guarantee the necessary security framework for the subsequent landing of the riflemen aboard the amphibious vehicles AAV7 and other NATO forces.

During the exercise the task force "Serenissima" will employ its own joint fire team, an asset capable of managing land, air and naval fire support in an integrated manner.

Trident Juncture is NATO's most important joint military training event of the year and allows participating units to work in a context of high realism and complexity, consolidating interoperability with the armed forces of allied countries.
