The officers attending the 141 course of State Staff today visited the Management Center of Intesa Sanpaolo, where theInnovation Center of the banking group. Greeted by Maurizio Montagnese, chief innovation officer of Intesa Sanpaolo, the over two hundred soldiers on duty at Training Command and Application School of the Army have had the opportunity to observe closely a building and a cutting-edge operating reality in many ways.

Designed by Renzo Piano in the 2007 and inaugurated the 10 April of the 2015, the skyscraper with its 38 plans and 167,25 meters of elevation is the third tallest building in Turin and, in its category, the most ecological in Europe.

THEInnovation Center of Intesa Sanpaolo researches and analyzes innovative solutions on the national and international market, in order to identify development opportunities for the Group and for customers, both in banking and non-banking. THE'Innovation Center it also works closely with universities and scientific research centers, providing the fulcrum of the banking group's innovation initiatives.

The visit is part of an ambitious training program, the purpose of which is to offer future military leaders the necessary tools to operate effectively within the Major States of National and Multinational Commands at Brigade level. Among the 214 captains, there are 18 women and a Brazilian official. Belonging to all the Army Weapons and Corps, the officers come from the different areas of use of the armed force and possess significant professional experience gained in Italy and abroad. Afghanistan, Lebanon, the Balkans and Iraq are the most well-known operating theaters which are flanked by less common geographical realities such as Chad, Uganda, Mali, Antarctica, Djibouti, Libya and Pakistan where some of them served as military observers, commanders of units or specialists.
