Today, on the parade ground of the "Duca" barracks, the ceremony of oath of loyalty to the Italian Republic of Volunteers in fixed farm of one year (VFP1) of the 3rd announcement 2nd Block 2016. The solemn act took place in front of the war flag of the 85th regiment, of the commander of the Volunteer Training Center, Brigadier General Giuseppe Faraglia, and of civil and religious authorities.
Colonel Alessio Gabriele Degortes, commander of the 85th RAV "Verona", at the premise of the reading of the oath formula, reminded the soldiers that "... swearing means accepting, sharing and defending those values proper to being a soldier and which must be those that will make you quality citizens, responsible and courageous parents".
General Faraglia then wanted to wish the jurands "... to be able to live up to the ideals you are looking for and to live the expectations that you pursue without ever losing your enthusiasm!".
I Volunteers in fixed farm of the 3 ° call 2 ° Block 2016, will remain in the city of Verona until the next 2 March, to complete the ten weeks of basic training, then completing their professional training at other sites of the armed force.
