The new Volunteers in Initial Firm (VFI) arrived at the volunteer training regiments

(To Army Majority State)
25/07/23

The men and women belonging to the first course flowed to the voluntary training regiments (17th of Capua, 85th of Verona, 235th of Ascoli Piceno and 80th of Cassino) Volunteers in Initial Stop, which will take place in the coming weeks.

Professional training, a spirit of service, the fascination of the activities and curiosity about the career profiles that the new process proposes accompanied the new volunteers.

The new professional model is based on a three-year period of service, which allows young citizens, aged between 18 and 24, to enlist and receive specialist training.

Once the 12th month of service has been completed, the VFI will be able to participate in competitions for the Police Forces and, above all, upon reaching the 24th month, he will be able to participate in the competition for VFT (Triennial Volunteer in Ferma) and then, once this three-year period is over, he will automatically pass into the permanent service roles of the Armed Forces.

The new professional model, therefore, will allow young soldiers to acquire the specialist skills necessary for the assigned operational units through training that will begin in the training regiments (RAV) and then continue directly to the weapon/specialty schools for the advanced training phase.
