The international exercise Allied Spirit IV which takes place every year in the training area of Hohenfels in Germany, after more than two weeks of intense training, aimed at creating the right cohesion and refining the procedures between units coming from different countries, starts the final phase with the deployment of forces and confrontation on the ground.

The peculiarity of the Hohenfels district is to offer a vast training area in which realistic operational scenarios are reproduced, also through the use of role players, in which the difficult terrain and particular climatic conditions test the stamina of men. and means. The complex and meticulous planning of the operation that involved the "Garibaldi" Brigade and various departments of the Italian Army, in collaboration with the other participating countries, will be implemented and tested on the ground.

The objective of this type of training planned over the years is to share the respective operational experiences to increase integration among personnel up to the minimum order levels. Another very important aspect is the interoperability between the different communication and command and control systems.

Everything is therefore ready for the central phase of theAllied Spirit IV, ie the conduct phase. A very hard week during which all the typical situations of a snowy crisis scenario will be faithfully reproduced.
