The "Festival of the 185th Regiment" took place yesterday at the "Romano" Barracks, attended by the commander of the parachute brigade thunderbolt, General Giovanni Maria Iannucci and the godmother of the regiment, Signora Gioia Giampietro.
Numerous military and civil authorities intervened, including the representatives of the mayors of the cities of Tarquinia, Viterbo with the respective sections Anpd'I, Manziana and Trevignano.
In the morning, as a premise, a sober military ceremony with crown deposition in honor of the fallen of the battle of El Alamein took place in Piazza IV Novembre. On this occasion, the commander of the paratroopers Brigade wanted to express to the newly elected mayor of Bracciano, Mr. Armando Tondinelli, a heartfelt thanks for the closeness of the local institutions to the "Folgore Brigade".
In the afternoon, an operational launch of the 185 parachute artillery regiment on Lake Bracciano was carried out.
