From the 9 last November the "Sparrow 2015" Exercise is being held at the Carpegna military polygon, which sees all the operating components of the 28 "Pavia" regiment engaged in various capacities.
The exercise provides for the conduct of tactical activities in a medium and high intensity operational environment, within which to verify the correct application of the doctrine and of the technical-tactical procedures inherent to operational communications.
The "Sparrow 2015", which also includes firearms with small arms and departmental weapons, is one of the many activities that the 28th regiment carries out with the dual purpose of providing personnel with both basic military training and technical-specialist knowledge in order to operate effectively in the field of operational communications.
