In the light of the recent foreign commitments, where the Italian army has operated jointly with the armies of allied countries, it has become necessary to carry out joint training in order to refine and standardize procedures. The exercise ended, as was the tradition of the 82nd Airborne, with the rite of the exchange of patents, where the "launch directors" of the Folgore and the American "jump masters" air-launched the American and Italian paratroopers.
