The "Civetta 2016" exercise, carried out in the training areas of the army of the Cellina-Meduna polygon, ended in recent days.

It was a training event aimed at verifying the level of training achieved by the Task Force of the 33rd EW Regiment potentially usable in NATO rapid reaction forces.

The activity, aimed at validating the command and control procedures of the dependent units, envisaged the use of specialist teams of the 33rd EW Regiment in a simulated crisis scenario and the use of the operating procedures currently in force.

In particular, personnel from the main units with a high specialized connotation of the Army took part in the exercise, including the 41st "Cordenons" regiment of Sora and the 13th "Aquileia" battalion of Anzio.

All the activities carried out by the training units were planned and coordinated by the command of the 33rd EW regiment, under the supervision of the RISTA-EW brigade command based in Anzio.
