The final phase of the brigade training was held in the Capo Teulada polygon in Sardinia in recent days Ram, as part of the "Armored Sword" exercise, a complex activity aimed at implementing training between the departments of the large armored unit.
The activity, planned, organized and conducted by theRam, projected his brigade command post in the polygon, using part of the 11 ° Bersaglieri regiment of Orcenico, assets of the 132 ° artillery regiment of Maniago, of the 32 ° wagon regiment of Tauriano and of the regiment "Lancieri di Novara" of Codroipo, in addition to an aliquot of the 7 ° regiment transmissions of Sacile.
The Exercise was developed through a series of simulations of deployment of the units in different operational scenarios, in order to test the technical tactical procedures peculiar to each of the present Army specialties.
During the training activity, in addition to the traditional carts Ram, combat vehicles were used Dart, the blind Centaur and self-propelled PZH 2000, which, in the context of dynamic actions, highlighted the remarkable capacity for cooperation between tanks, artillery and heavy and light infantry units.
The departments received the visit of the commander of the Friuli Division, General Flaviano Godio, in the exercise area, who assisted with the commander of the brigade Ram, General Antonello Vespaziani, to carry out some phases of the training.
General Godio, at the end of the visit, wanted to meet the trained staff and expressed their appreciation for the efforts made and for the remarkable training results achieved.
