Airmobile Permanent Training Exercise V

It ended today at the Barracks Francesco Baracca, seat of the 5th AVES regiment "Rigel" the first part of the exercise called "Airmobile Permanent Training V".

The activity, developed with about 300 soldiers belonging to the aircraft brigade Friuli and directed by the commander of the aircraft brigade, Brigadier General Paolo Riccò, represented a valid test to test the level of interoperability and synergistic integration achieved by the aircraft and infantry units that participated in the training event.

In particular, the crews of the 7th "Vega" and the 5th "Rigel" planned and conducted recovery missions for wounded personnel-MEDEVAC (Medical Evacuation) / NEO (Noncombatant Evacuation Operation) or remained isolated-IP (Isolated Personnel) in a non-permissive environment, in addition to exploration and surveillance missions of the employment area.

The exercise allowed the departments to express interoperability and procedural standardization existing among all the infantry, exploration helicopter and tactical transport components (NH 90) that the attitude and the ability to command and control up to the lowest levels.
