After exactly 41 years the official students of the Military Academy have returned to wear the characteristic two-pointed hat, the so-called "Due Pizzi".
Adopted in the 1963 initially in a rigid version, almost like a kepì, it assumed the "soft" configuration - consisting of a sachet with visor and crimson cord in the middle - in the 1968, with the entrance of the 150 ° course.

Starting from the 1974 / 1975 academic year, the "Due Pizzi" was decommissioned and the 156 ° corso was the first to wear the khaki and the black-colored 1981 basque.

With the entry into the Institute of the 198 "Saldezza" course, the "Due Pizzi" was again adopted as an internal service headgear for the official students of the Military Academy, in view of the recovery of those traditions that unite in a " Unica Schiera "the generations of students who have crossed the threshold of the Ducal Palace over the centuries.
