Music and solidarity to feel united. A day marked by attention to the next, as an important gathering moment, the one held at the Antonio Cavalleri Barracks, headquarters of the "Acqui" Division. The exhibition of polyphonic choirs of some schools in Naples, Arzano and Pianura and of the military choir "Cavalleri" made it possible to promote a food collection, made by the Barracks staff together with all the participants, to support the families most in need of the metropolitan areas of Barra, Ponticelli, S. Giovanni a Teduccio and packing meals for the homeless of the Naples station.

the event "Acqui" Division on the notes of solidarity, is the fruit of a close collaboration, begun in the 2012, between the "Acqui", commanded by the general of the division Antonio Vittiglio, and suor Pasqualina Pignatiello, general mother of the Poor Daughters of the Visitation of Mary.

General Vittiglio, in his address of greeting, underlined the importance of the initiative that united solidarity and song, two aspects closely linked to the very essence of the Italian Army.

"Abroad we are often engaged in solidarity and support activities for the populations, an important responsibility that, a fortiori, we do not forget at home, turning our efforts both to National operations, and to the support of those who live, to our side, moments of difficulty. The singing, - said Vittiglio - on the other hand, it reminds us of the choirs of soldiers who, during the Great War, gathered in moments of pause to feel closer to home through music."

At the end of the morning, the commander personally gave the young singers the certificates of participation and, in conclusion, strengthened the collaboration with the Poor Daughters of the Visitation of Mary, giving them that of food collection.
