The operation began at 10.30 with the safety phase of the bomb and ended at 16.06 with the blasting of the bomb in the quarry located in the municipality of Sant'Elia Fiumerapido (FR).
The activity, coordinated by the Prefecture of Frosinone, involved the evacuation of more than 6.000 people.
The Army in the last ten years throughout the national territory has already defused more than 30.000 bombs and remnants of war of the last two world wars.
