(To Army Majority State)
02/02/24

In recent days 30 non-commissioned officers from Joint Force Command Naples they visited the Army Non-Official School (SSE), where the mission assigned to the Institute was illustrated to them, with particular regard to the platoon commander marshals: a complex professional role, which requires physically and technically prepared personalities, morally mature, highly motivated and aware of the characteristics necessary to exercise credible and effective leadership.

The delegation shared the challenge of the School, which consists in creating training programs adhering to the doctrinal and technological evolution of use of smaller units, to modern operational scenarios, to the internationalization of responses to crisis situations and to the complexity of various factors with which future platoon commanders will measure their human and professional capabilities.

This objective is pursued through a training course that begins with the "basic" process (marshal student course), which enables future commanders of smaller units to acquire the necessary authority and professional preparation, embracing a lifestyle choice and a mentality that is projected into the future, preserving the peculiar identity of the military institution. Subsequently, it continues with an "advanced" phase (Branca Course), after the command period, which allows the marshals to operate in the commands/staff at various levels, such as employees of the functional branches.
