The intervention of the Italian Army continues relentlessly with the military and vehicles of the 21st mastery engineers regiment of Caserta in the municipalities of Benevento, affected by the flood emergency of recent days.
The competition requested by the competent Prefecture is underway from the first light of October 15 first in Santa Maria a Vico, in the province of Caserta and then in the province of Benevento.
In the day today we have intervened in the municipalities of Fragneto Monforte and Paupisi, where, thanks to the use of special vehicles of the Genius, road traffic has been restored and some important canals have been cleared of rocky debris. At the same time, with the use of large capacity motor pumps, the basements of buildings still flooded continued to dry up.
Meanwhile, in coordination with the prefecture of Benevento, in order to plan future interventions, specialized military units carried out technical surveys in the municipality of Baselice.
