The "Firestorm 24/1" weapons specialty exercise, conducted by the "Horse" land artillery regiment, has ended. The activity, coordinated by the Northern Operational Forces Command of the Army, had the aim of refining and consolidating the technical-tactical skills of the department's specialty in order to achieve full operations, based on the use of a regimental structure in the scope of the “enhanced Vigilance Activity (eVA)” operation.
In addition to static and dynamic shooting exercises with portable weapons, the exercise was organized and conducted to train personnel in the use of planning, command and control procedures, preparation of artillery fire up to level group, as well as running fire up to level section.
The "Horse" land artillery regiment is a direct support unit of the "Pozzuolo del Friuli" brigade and is part of the National Projection Screening Capacity (CNPM).
