"Lira - Cyber ​​Fox 2023" concluded

The exercise concluded in recent days Lira - Cyber ​​Fox 2023, a training activity led by the transmission command, conducted throughout the national territory: from Caldaro (Bolzano), to Padua, Turin, Florence, Civitavecchia, Rome, Lapio (Avellino), up to reaching the islands in the cities of Palermo and Cagliari .

The activity had the aim of verifying and increasing the training standards of the personnel of the transmission command units in the planning, implementation and management of the C5 system to support the maneuver of a large combat unit, in the specific case of the division Acqui. Furthermore, the capabilities of the Army's cyber security department in the detection and management of cyber defense.

To make the scenario of the exercise more challenging and current, the presence of assets of the 33rd EW rgt, the COR Defense and the C4 Army command which allowed us to verify the robustness and resilience of the network system created.

The activity also saw the involvement of some of the leading industrial partners in the telecommunications, information technology and technology sectors cyber defense who, during the exercise, were able to insert and present innovative and niche technological solutions.

Numerous military authorities attended the final moment of the exercise, including the commander for training, specialization and doctrine of the Army, Army Corps General Carlo Lamanna, the commander of the Defense Network Operations Command, General Sergio Antonio Scalese, the head of the VI C5 department of the Army general staff, division general Luciano Antoci and the commander of the "Acqui" division, division general Francesco Bruno.

At the end of the activity, the commander of transmissions, Brigadier General Davide Pilatti, expressed words of thanks to the personnel employed for the high professionalism and great commitment made in the conduct of the exercise.​
