The 16th edition of the CIMIC Units Commanders' Conference (CUCC), event organized by Multinational CIMIC Group, by delegation of Supreme Allied Powers of Europe, held at "Palazzo Foscolo" in Oderzo. The theme of the conference was: the "Human Security in operations and its implications in Collective Defense from the CIMIC point of view".
The event was held for the purpose of providing an all-encompassing view of Human Security in a classic conflict context, in order to enable commanders to understand the actions to take when confronting non-military actors.
In addition to the speakers of the Multinational CIMIC Group and NATO, representatives of local authorities, national and international organizations and the. took part in the conference International Committee of the Red Cross.
The conference was an important milestone in the further development of the Human Security in the context of NATO Operations in the light of the ever-increasing geopolitical and military challenges that will involve the Countries and the Armed Forces of the Atlantic Alliance.
