It ended, at Joint Multinational Readiness Center of Hohenfels in Germany, the multinational exercise Combined Resolve XIX, in which the Italian Army participated with personnel and assets of the 4th tank regiment of the "Garibaldi" Bersaglieri Brigade.
The objective of the exercise was to increase the interoperability of procedures between the participating armies, perfect the integration of communication systems and encourage joint training to enhance operational capabilities and related logistical support in a conflict scenario at high intensity.
The men and women of Garibaldi, who on this occasion were included in the 101 airborne brigade of the US Army, trained in a simulated operational environment, with opposing parties, conducting offensive and defensive tactical activities. The exercise, characterized by an increasing level of complexity, confirmed a high level of preparation of the Italian crews, who distinguished themselves both in the effective operational maneuver and in the coordinated use of the combat support and logistics components.
The fruitful commitment and resources used during the exercise certainly contributed to increasing the technical-tactical preparation of all participants. In particular, the Army's ability to provide NATO with well-trained, highly integrated forces capable of operating in any scenario was confirmed.
