This morning took place in the Gamerra Barracks of Pisa, headquarters of the Parachuting Training Center, the exchange ceremony of the commander of the paratroopers brigade "Folgore", between the general Giovanni Maria Iannucci, transferor, and the general Roberto Vannacci, successor. The commander of the ceremony was present at the ceremony Terrestrial Operations, gen. ca Alberto Primicerj and the main civil and military authorities of the cities that host the departments of the thunderbolt.
General Iannucci leaves the post after almost two years of intense activity that have seen the men and women of the thunderbolt engaged in training activities, public calamity interventions and in the main operating theaters.
General Primicerj, in his speech of greeting, congratulated the transferor commander for his excellent work and stressed that the paratroop brigade is an extremely valuable resource for the professionalism, versatility and dedication of its staff and for the very high weapon systems technology supplied.
General Roberto Vannacci has become the 31 commander of the brigade thunderbolt after having commanded the 9 "Col Moschin" raid regiment and having carried out prestigious tasks both in the defense staff and in operations.
During the ceremony a precision flight was carried out by the instructors of the Parachuting School.
