The turnover ceremony at the top of the Engineers brigade took place in recent days, in the presence of the commander of the Engineers command, division general Gianpaolo Mirra, at the "Ettore Rosso" barracks, between Brigadier General Mauro Prezioso and fellow officer Gianluca Dello Munich.
General Prezioso, in his farewell speech, recalled the great work carried out by the dependent units during his two years of command in the various educational, training and operational activities and, in particular, highlighted the excellent work carried out in situations of emergency on the national territory and abroad, which required the intervention of the personnel and resources of the Engineers.
General Mirra, in his speech, thanked General Prezioso for his commitment and the results achieved by the Brigade, wishing him the best wishes for his new role as commander of the “Cecchignola” district.
General Dello Monaco, coming from the office of the deputy chief of staff of the Army, is the third commander of the Engineers brigade, established on 1 July 2020 following a reorganization process of the Engineers command and the entire infrastructure sector of the Army Italian.
