The event was attended by numerous local civil and religious authorities, as well as various representatives of international organizations accredited in Kosovo.
General Figliuolo, thanking Colonel Manfredi for the excellent results achieved during his mandate, underlined the important role of JRD-C, a multinational unit that includes military personnel from Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Finland and Turkey, responsible for a geographical area approximately 2500 km2 from east to west, about a third of the entire surface of Kosovo. The JRD-C operates with the 10 Liaison Monitoring Team (LMT) on the municipal territory of 13 municipalities in Kosovo, including Pristina, the capital.
The team's staff works closely with the population, local and religious institutions in the area, including the Patriacato of Pec, the monasteries of Devic and Decane and the Islamic community.
