Change in command of the Army special forces

In recent days, the turnover ceremony for the Army special forces command (COMFOSE) between Brigadier General Pietro Addis and Brigadier General Andrea Vicari. Civil and military authorities were present and it was presided over by Major General Fernando Paglialunga, deputy commander of the Operational Land Forces Command (COMFOTER).

The event was preceded, in the morning, by the naming of “Lt. MOVM Dario Vitali" of the new base of Army special forces command.

In his farewell speech, General Addis thanked the staff for their commitment and determination in all activities during his three years of command with particular reference to out-of-area operations and national contingency plans.

The ceremony was concluded by Major General Fernando Paglialunga with words of appreciation for the extraordinary work that all the units included in COMFOSE carry out daily both in the service of the special forces sector and in cooperation with other Army units.​
