The meeting was attended by Dr. Annamaria Lorusso, director of the Castello Svevo di Bari, Brigadier General Natalino Madeddu, regional military commander, who illustrated and presented the particularities of the calendar, which - in my opinion - deserves to be included in the Italians' houses not only as a simple calendar for the army, but above all for the historical and cultural wealth given the considerable photographic documentation.
The professor. Nicola Neri, university professor of History of War and Military Institutions at the University of Bari, explained with brief but important historical hints, the reasons that drove Italy into the conflict, with what ideas and with how much maturity, concluding with actuality of the values of men and women of those years.
Then there was a brief but intense video made up of several videos of the time, followed with great interest by the students who intervened with their teachers who were then distributed with army gadgets.
The calendar was finally handed over to the civil and military authorities and it all ended with the classic exchange of pre-Christmas greetings.
