The joint exercise concluded between the paratrooper sappers of the "Folgore" brigade and the joint assets of the 173 ^ US paratrooper brigade of the USASETAF command stationed in Vicenza.
The RCP activity (Route Clearance Package), which took place at a training area of the 8 ° Folgore "guzzelli" genius regiment, served to test the ability to reclaim improvised explosive devices along high-risk routes.
The exercise represented an excellent test bed to verify the abilities, to implement the procedures and to refine the techniques for the resolution of IED (Improvised Explosive Device) incidents in a high-intensity operational context.
The occasion also allowed us to increase interoperability, contributing to consolidating the already strong bond established with the paratrooper units stationed at the US base in Vicenza.
