Maintain the operational capability acquired by the high readiness units of the Joint Rapid Response Force (JRRF), exercise command and control (C2) capabilities, refine multi-weapon specialty training, and evaluate chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threat response capabilities.
These are the objectives for which the soldiers of the "Sassari" brigade trained during the army camp which ended with an exercise that saw over 140 soldiers and 30 tactical vehicles deployed.
The "Sassarini" trained as part of a combat campaign with tactical tasks such as interdiction of enemy units, maintaining assigned positions, fixing the enemy with fire and counterattacking. The training activity was organized and conducted by the 152nd "Sassari" infantry regiment with the support of forces from the 3rd Bersaglieri regiment, the 5th sappers regiment and the "Sassari" logistics regiment.
