Within the Alpine Troops Skiing Championships, being held in the Olympic municipalities of the Milky Way, the first title of Italian Army Champion was awarded this morning in biathlon. On the "Olimpica" track in Pragelato the victory went to Sergeant Roberto Mauro, effective at the 2 ° Alpini regiment, which preceded on the finish line the 1 ° caporalmaggiore Marco Corradini, under the 4 ° Alpino paratroopers regiment and the corporal chosen Jules Pession of Alpine Training Center.
In the women's field, Corporal Emanuela Piasco, also effective in the 2nd Alpini Regiment, prevailed in front of the chosen corporal Michela Andreola, of the "Tridentina" command and tactical support department and the chosen corporal Ilenia Casali of the 8th regiment Alpine.
At the same time, a giant slalom was held on the Sises racetrack in Sestriere for the awarding of Friendship and CISM Trophies. In the men's field the victory went to the French Seba Fournier Bidoz who preceded by only 25 cents the Italian Gian Mauro Piantoni (National Alpine Association). All-Italian podium instead among women, with Sabrina Fanchini in front of Sarah Pardeller and Camilla Borsotti, athletes in force at the Army Sports Center.
